Schools in Carmei Gat: primary, religious and high school

Carmei Gat is a neighbourhood of Kiryat Gat, and its schools come under the Kiryat Gat Education Department. State (mamlachti) primary schools include Cramim on Nofech St, Menachem Begin and the new Naomi Shemer, which is adding a grade each year. State-religious primary schools include Kol Eliyahu (also growing a grade a year) and the Carmei Gat state-religious schools on Sderot Carmei Gat, and Or HaChaim is an official Haredi primary school.

For older children there is the Rabin new high school (state, grades 7-12) on Sderot Avnei HaChoshen and Ulpanat Kiryat Gat, a religious girls' school on Esther HaMalka St. The Carmei Gat community site notes there is no religious boys' high school in the neighbourhood yet, so some families use schools in Kiryat Gat, such as Ort Gross, or nearby communities.
