Municipal and government offices for Carmei Gat

Carmei Gat is a neighbourhood of Kiryat Gat, so almost all offices are in Kiryat Gat proper. City Hall and the Population and Immigration Authority (teudat zehut, passports) are both in the Lev HaIr Mall on Lachish Blvd; the Population Authority works by appointment booked through govisit.gov.il. Arnona accounts are handled at the Municipal Payments and Arnona Centre, 70 HaRimon St, by appointment only, and Bituach Leumi is at 64 HaAtzmaut Blvd, also by appointment.

The Religious Council handles marriage registration, kashrut and checking Jewish status for olim. The Carmei Gat Directorate is the municipal office that manages the neighbourhood's infrastructure, roads and landscaping, and a welfare team works from Gat Center in Carmei Gat.
